saturday - showdown: youth & Open Comps
Join us December 7th and 8th for a weekend of competition and fun. On Saturday we will host our annual Stonetree Showdown Youth and Open competitions. Registration is $50 online, and $65 the day of. The youth event typically sells out, so register early! See below for the weekend schedule. Food trucks, drinks, raffles, and awards after the comp. The results from Saturday will go towards the Last Best Bouldering Series competition.
Youth participants may sign up for Wave 1 or Wave 2 timeslots. Competitors compete across “waves” which allows us to spread the crowd out between 2 different times. We will score and tally the whole division, so it does not matter which wave your climber competes in. Please choose the time that works best for your family.
NOTE: Helena participants and travelers coming from nearby, we HIGHLY encourage you all to sign up for Wave 1. This allows those travelling from afar to be in Wave 2. It also provides you with the freshest holds and clear minds for morning sends. Thanks for your consideration!
Sunday - community pump off
Sunday we will host the 4th Annual Community Pump Off. This event has grown every year since inception; it’s too good to miss. Come with friends or make some while you’re here, wear a costume (or don’t), climb the new comp routes, and and stay for the beer, homemade food and party to follow. Nothing calls for community like the community pump off. Awards will be given to not only the climbing categories, but more importantly to the Best Dressed (costume), Marathon Sender (most attempts), Dark Horse (best performance with a day-of waiver), and Super Sandbagger. When you sign up, you will do so within a V-Grade category allowing you to only compete against those at your level. Categories are: V0-V2, V3-V4, V5-V6, V7+. There will be raffle prizes for all and just $30 gets you a score card, access to food & drink, and all the party you can handle. Checking in to climb is a separate fee, but your membership, a punch card, or day pass will all work. All proceeds will go to buying new holds for the gym! See below for the full schedule.

We added to the series with Goodson inspiring with his art, adorning the walls in your home, office or elsewhere.

Will you have collected them all? This year’s 2024 poster will have a limited run. Years 2021-2023 VERY limited supplies remain. Available only at the Stonetree Showdown & Community Pump Off.
