Program highlights
Focus on 4 Major Movement Patterns:
Hinge: Exercises like deadlifts and single-leg Romanian deadlifts (RDLs) to build a stronger posterior chain, vital for skiing control and uphill strength.
Squat: Movements like back squats, goblet squats, and box squats to develop strong quads, protecting your knees and getting you forward on your skis.
Push: Press variations perfect for skate skiers, cross-country enthusiasts, and anyone using poles—or even snowboarders and ice climbers needing upper body strength.
Pull: Rows and pull-up variations to strengthen your core and upper body, especially beneficial for ice climbers but essential for all winter athletes.
Accessory Exercises: Targeting additional muscle groups, these movements focus on single-leg stability and functional strength, rounding out each session for full-body conditioning.
