At Stonetree, we will connect you with a local guide so you can safely navigate the towering cliffs overlooking Helena and enjoy climbing this unique feature. This experience will transform your visit to Montana’s capital city and transform your relationship to Helena's beloved mountain.

The crags on Mount Helena are a 30-45 minute hike from the parking lot. If you need help with gear, or have any questions, please let us know and we can direct you to the best of our abilities.

Cost - Full Day

$500 for 1 climber

$675 for 2 climbers

$850 for 3 climbers

$1000 for 4 climbers

Have a party of 5 or more? Please book over the phone.

Climbers must be at least 6 years old.

Participants 11 & younger require an accompanying adult.

These bookings need to be made at least 7 days in advance for our guides to prepare. If you are inside of that 7 day period, please call for availability.

This is a guided experience. The lead guide has the directive to make all safety decisions for the best of the group. Environmental factors could affect the day’s outcome. If the day needs to be cancelled or rescheduled for any reason, please refer to our Cancellation/Refund Policy.

Haven Hoffman

Haven is a Helena-valley local and an American Mountain Guide Association certified Single Pitch Instructor with 10+ years of climbing experience. Before becoming a bona fide trad dad, he spent nearly a decade working as a shipboard maritime engineer where the only thing to climb was heavy equipment and Abrams tanks. He has experience climbing all around North America, from grain silos in Indiana to multi-pitch ice in the South Fork of the Shoshone. He has a wealth of knowledge to share with you, and we're psyched to have him as a part of Stonetree.
